As the Education Manager and Head Instructor of PVNet I was provided with the opportunity to work on various projects. My responsibilities included working as a 3D Printing Technician, 3D Art & Design, Graphic Design, Teaching, Mentoring, Marketing, and more.

3D PRINTING

I designed many pieces that were 3D Printed by the company. We also created 3D designs for other companies and private individuals.

AERIAL DATA COLOR 3D PRINT

Utilizing a UAV high quality imagery was taken of an area that is known to shift frequently. Taking the imagery into specialized software 3D Data was created from the images. Utilizing the 3D Data and texture information a color 3D Print was prepared. This project included many people specializing in many fields such as GIS, Business, UAV’s and 3D Art.

CAPTURING THE DATA

3D MODEL AND TEXTURES

Working closely with the GIS expert we took the data taken from the aerial photos and created a 3D model. The 3D model was prepped and edited for Color 3D Printing.

3D SCANNING

Face scans were used to create stylized 3D prints. PLA 3D prints was later finished with an acetone to create a glossy finish.

MAYOR BUST

A 3D Scan was taken of the Mayor of RPV. The scan was taken into Zbrush for editing and cleanup. The final 3D Print was presented to the Mayor of RPV.
